Job Description
6103 - 186 - Production Manager RPPDeRoyal is actively searching for a Night Shift Production Manager to join our Royal Precision Plastics team in Powell, TN. This position is fulltime with benefits and will be for night shift. Typical work hours will be from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. Some weekend work will be required.

SUMMARY: Direct and coordinate activities of production department(s) in processing materials or manufacturing products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Conduct operations in accordance with safety requirements.
Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations; analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems.
Review production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations.
Send reports weekly or as needed to Sr. Director.
Work with Quality Control department as needed to resolve and prevent quality issues.
Work with Director to prepare, review and recommend budget to executive management.
Plan and oversee production operations; establish priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
Prepare operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.
Review production and operating reports; resolve manufacturing problems efficiently to ensure minimum cost and prevent operational delays.
Confer with other Supervisors and Team Leaders to coordinate activities of individual departments.
Interview and assist in training new employees; initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree with two to four years related experience and/or training; or High School diploma or equivalent (GED) with four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
