Job Description

  • Plan, coordinate and manage MICE events, conferences, banquets and corporate functions from planning to execution.
  • Act as the main liaison with clients to understand event requirements and ensure successful delivery.
  • Coordinate event logistics including venue setup, catering, audio-visual, technical support and guest services.
  • Work closely with internal departments such as sales, banquet operations, kitchen, engineering and housekeeping to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Conduct event briefings, prepare event orders and oversee on-site event operations.
  • Monitor event budgets, manage costs and support revenue generation through upselling event services.
  • Ensure high standards of service quality, safety compliance and customer satisfaction.

 

Job Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Tourism or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in event management, MICE, banquets or hospitality operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage event operations during weekends or public holidays when required.
  • Proficient in event planning tools, Microsoft Office and event documentation processes.
  • Willing to be based in Genting Highlands
