Job Description
- Define data center system-level, product architecture, and Research and Development, while helping to develop operations and maintenance procedures for systems/processes.
- Conduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities.
- Ensure designs and installations meet requirements (e.g., predicted cooling, structural, operational concerns, etc.).
- Collaborate with Data Center Delivery and Engineering (DCDE) core teams to develop, implement, and manage the data center (DC) mechanical designs at site starting from basis of design (BOD) to issued for construction (IFC) data center services documents for new DC projects build outs, infrastructure upgrades, and renovations.
- Oversee all site-level mechanical system issues throughout the project execution phase, diagnose and resolve issues with cross-functional teams, uphold DC-related mechanical system design requirements and interface documents, manage and comply with the change control process.
