
Operations Coordinator / Intervention Services & Drilling Tools / Fishing and Re-Entry
Job Description
Job Overview:
Coordinate and support fishing and re-entry operations to ensure safe, efficient, and successful job execution by coordinating assets, managing inventory, allocating resources, and serving as the operational link between field crews, clients, and internal departments to plan jobs, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate jobs, equipment, personnel, and materials for fishing and re-entry activities to meet client requirements and schedules
Support pre-job planning and post-job reviews: participate in peer and contract reviews, prepare job packs, select equipment, and attend pre-job and post-job briefings
Provide on-site operational support during critical fishing and re-entry jobs, including supervision of procedures and tool deployment
Perform and interpret simulations and wellbore/operation modeling; communicate results to clients and field teams
Lead problem investigations for failed or problematic jobs; document lessons learned and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Liaise with clients to define job scope, technical expectations, and future opportunities for product or service adaptation
Identify synergies between product lines and services to optimize solutions for customers
Maintain detailed and accurate job documentation, equipment logs, and service records
Provide formal mentoring and hands-on training to field service personnel; ensure team competency with tools and procedures
Recommend improvements to methods, performance, and quality to increase efficiency and reduce risk
Attend client meetings and communicate job-specific technical and operational details as required
Ensure compliance with company safety policies, quality systems, and regulatory requirements; complete all required safety and competency training
Be available to work outside normal business hours and travel as required.
Skills Required:
Knowledge of fishing tools, downhole assemblies, and well control basics
Demonstrated experience supporting or coordinating complex downhole operations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Diplomatic approach when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
Strong organizational, process focused and coordination abilities
Knowledge of Weatherford's service equipment and business operations
Financial responsibility and budget awareness
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Qualifications Required:
5+ years operational experience
Business skills in Operations and Administration
Proficiency with simulation/modeling tools and Microsoft Office
Qualifications Preferred:
1+year coordinating experience
Knowledge of inventory management systems
Travel Requirement: Up to 10% domestically and potentially international travel
