Job Description

As a Global Mobility Associate, you will work as part of a collaborative and international team supporting globally mobile employees and multinational clients across a range of cross-border tax, payroll, immigration, and mobility matters. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to international business operations while developing practical skills in a fast-paced global environment.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Support tax return preparation and compliance processes for international assignees and globally mobile employees.
  • Assist in coordinating cross-border tax and payroll matters across multiple countries.
  • Support visa and immigration-related processes and documentation.
  • Assist with compensation, benefits, and HR-related matters connected to international assignments.
  • Conduct research on international tax, mobility, and cross-border employment topics.
  • Communicate and collaborate with global teams, clients, and internal stakeholders in both Japanese and English.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support compliance and operational processes.
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.

Qualifications

  • Current undergraduate student, recent graduate, or early-career professional from any academic background.
  • Proficiency in both Japanese and English.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with numbers and data.
  • Curious mindset with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Interest in working in an international and multicultural environment.

Nice to have (but not required):

  • Exposure to accounting, tax, HR, finance, or business-related studies.
  • Internship, part-time work, or other practical experience.
  • Interest in international business, global mobility, or cross-border work.

Additional Information

  • This is a regular full-time position. 

  • Hybrid work

  • Please note that interviews will be carried out from June to August with expected start dates in October/November.
