Job Description

The Project Quality Manager has independence and authority to manage quality and nuclear safety across the project and is the key quality interface with the Customer, manages the quality and nuclear safety activities across the entire execution chain of an integrated project.
Project Quality manager will integral part of the project team and ensures that all quality and nuclear safety related requirements in the contract is fulfilled.

  • Ensure alignment within the project framework on all customers contracted quality expectations.

  • Define and implement a strategy, priorities, and an action plan to drive nuclear safety across the project. It needs to be in line with the organization’s overall strategy and priorities.

  • Ensure that the nuclear safety culture is deployed within the project, support its assessment and training campaigns and / or any event to promote nuclear safety (e.g., nuclear safety moments).

  • Ensure that ITNS-item information and data are rigorously communicated into our internal documentation (e.g., ITPL etc.).

  • Contribute to quotation / negotiation from a Quality and Nuclear Safety perspective (ITO)

  • Analyze the project contractual requirements and translate them into a comprehensive project quality strategy via the PMF (Project Management File) and quality plans.

  • Ensure project Quality induction to the entire project team.

  • Chair the project quality kick off meeting to share issued Quality plans with the Customer for validation.

  • Accountability for the ITPs (Inspection and Test Programs) and ensuring compliance with contract / customer expectations.

  • Prepare and drive regular Project Quality Review (internal), Quality KPI of the Project (part of the bowler chart) and to report them to the Project Director and Quality Management.

  • Represent Quality within the Project reviews with the Customer (external) and share remedy plans, as necessary.

  • Establish surveillance strategy (e.g., training, audit), based on project risk assessment.

  • Define and deploy appropriate governance with relevant project stakeholders to regularly follow-up of project tracking.

  • Coordinate resolution of complex Quality issues raised along project execution.

  • Ensure plans are in place to demonstrate conformance to Technical Regulation and Standards (TRS), local regulation, and requirements (PED etc.). Follow-up Product PQMs (internal manufacturing), Supplier Quality (external supply) during manufacturing phase and Site Quality Management during site execution.

  • EOMR compilation and follow-up to the Customer in a timely manner (in line with master time schedule)

  • Coordinate preparation and ensure flawless execution of the Customer audits.

  • Guide, train, support, and coach the Project team for using relevant quality tools.

  • Support Project Management within the PEQ (Project Execution Quality) process.

  • Support Project Management within the Customer Satisfaction process.

  • Ensure the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) governance and interface with customers.

  • Ensures overall governance of Customer Inspections (notification, attendance, reporting, action tracking)
