Delivery-Installer

  OVERVIEW The Delivery-Installer is responsible for ensuring the successful installation of commercial kitchen equipment and exceptional delivery service to our customers. While performing the duties of this role, the Delivery-Installer must comply with all applicable health and safety regulations, policies, and established work practices. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Driving an automatic 26 ft. box truck (non CDL), DOT required Preparation and assembly of equipment for delivery Delivering and setting up commercial kitchen and bar equipment Loading and unloading equipment and tools properly for delivery and work in the field Troubleshooting delivery/installation issues Small package delivery Operating a forklift (Certification Required) will certify if needed Maintaining a neat and organized work area Ensure adherence to all safety regulations on job sites, while driving company vehicles and in Singer|Kittredge warehouses Attending required safety trainings Maintaining a professional appearance and conduct during work hours MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or Equivalent OSHA 10-hour construction certification a plus (Company paid if certification isn’t current) Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in commercial distribution a plus Experience in Foodservice related industry a plus Excellent interpersonal / communication skills and a collaborative work style Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an attention to detail with minimal supervision Self-motivated Customer oriented Experience with driving straight trucks a plus Valid driver’s license Clean driving record Mechanically inclined Proficiency in reading layout drawings a plus Proficiency in use of hand and power tools Able to operate powered material handling equipment Ability to lift 75+ pounds and carry 50+ pounds Primary work schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. The position may require overtime hours, overnight stays, out of town travel and weekend work as needed
