Location: Flying Fish Public Market & Grill – Myrtle Beach, SC
Schedule: Part-Time & Full-Time | Evening Shifts (4PM–10PM)

Position Summary
We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Oyster Shucker to join our raw bar team. If you know your oysters, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in delivering top-quality seafood with skill and personality, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Shuck oysters quickly, safely, and consistently to order
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe raw bar
- Ensure freshness and quality of all oysters and raw bar offerings
- Communicate oyster varieties, regions, and flavor profiles to guests
- Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to keep service running smoothly
- Uphold Flying Fish standards of hospitality, presentation, and guest engagement
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of oyster shucking experience in a high‑volume restaurant
- Strong knowledge of oyster types, regions, and seasonal availability
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods
- Passion for seafood, teamwork, and great guest service
