About this Role
The Project Manager leads the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic initiatives across the company. This individual will ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with business objectives. The primary objectives of the position are as follows:
1) Ensure projects are properly planned, tracked, and executed with clear accountability and communication across stakeholders;
2) Provide reporting and analysis that helps leadership monitor project performance, risks, and progress against strategic objectives;
3) Evaluate workflows, resource allocation, and process improvement opportunities to facilitate operational efficiency and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Represent project management across a company which promotes collaboration, accountability, and process improvement.
Lead cross-functional projects from initiation through completion, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and deadlines are clearly defined and achieved.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, status reports, and project documentation.
Coordinate with business leaders and department stakeholders to identify project goals, scope, dependencies, risks, and success measures.
Facilitate project meetings, communicate updates, and ensure follow-up on key action items and deliverables.
Monitor project performance and proactively identify issues, roadblocks, and resource constraints, escalating concerns as appropriate.
Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining strong organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.
Support change management efforts by helping teams adopt new processes, systems, or operational improvements.
Partner with leadership to align project priorities with company goals and strategic initiatives.
Track and report on project status, timelines, outcomes, and key metrics to leadership.
Work with Compliance, Business Systems, Operations, and other internal teams to ensure project deliverables meet company and regulatory requirements where applicable.
Support operational efficiency initiatives and other special projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, Management, or related field.
5+ years of progressive project management or operations experience, including experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
Project management certification strongly preferred.
Operational & Technical Expertise
Strong working knowledge of project management principles, business process improvement, and cross-functional coordination.
Mortgage, banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industry experience prioritized.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required; experience with project management and workflow tools is preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical capabilities; a self-motivated individual who is able and willing to operate in a fast-paced environment, juggle competing priorities, and keep projects and stakeholders on-track and organized.
