As a Quality and Commissioning Wires Engineer (I&C, LSS, Security & Telecom), you will be responsible for supporting the commissioning and quality assurance activities related to Life Safety Systems (LSS), Instrumentation & Controls (I&C), Security Systems, and Telecom systems within semiconductor manufacturing facilities. This role will support commissioning execution, operational testing, inspections, and field coordination activities to ensure systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with project requirements, safety standards, and client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Support commissioning activities for Life Safety Systems (LSS), Security, Telecom, and I&C systems within semiconductor facilities
- Commission and verify operation of project-specific safety systems including:
- Smoke Detection Systems
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Hazardous Process Material Monitoring Systems
- Evacuation Systems
- Security and Telecom Systems
- Prepare operational test documentation and commissioning procedures for system startup activities
- Conduct field inspections, site walks, and create snag/punch lists throughout project execution
- Coordinate with project leads, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to support project delivery
- Identify installation, commissioning, or design deficiencies and support resolution activities
- Ensure systems are commissioned in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards
- Maintain project documentation and commissioning records throughout all project phases
- Support commissioning schedules and work effectively within tight project timelines
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude by contributing ideas and solutions to improve project execution and efficiency
- Participate in construction and commissioning meetings as required
- Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role
Skills Required:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Security Systems, Life Safety Systems (LSS), Telecom Systems, Instrumentation & Controls (I&C), or related commissioning environments
- Semiconductor industry experience preferred
- Strong understanding of construction and commissioning sequences and procedures
- Experience commissioning or supporting systems such as Fire Alarm, Smoke Detection, Hazardous Gas Monitoring, Security, Telecom, or Evacuation Systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and commissioning documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities within commissioning or field environments
- Ability to identify installation or design issues and support corrective actions
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within fast-paced project environments
- Ability to work to tight timelines and commissioning schedules
- Proficiency with field documentation, testing procedures, and reporting activities
Education / Licenses / Certifications
- Relevant industry experience will be strongly considered
- NICET certification is considered a plus
- Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable

This hourly rate is intended for local candidates within commuting distance of the site. Please note that local candidates are not eligible for per diem.
This rate is intended for traveling candidates, who may also be eligible for per diem of up to $1,500 per week. Per diem is only available to employees who maintain a qualifying tax home and incur duplicate living expenses while working away from home.
