The Electrical Superintendent will support the successful delivery of complex construction and commissioning projects within a high-tech manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all electrical scope with project teams and trade partners to ensure systems are installed, tracked, and delivered in line with schedule, safety, and quality expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams and electrical trade partners to develop and maintain project schedules
- Monitor electrical subcontractor progress and ensure daily production targets are achieved
- Identify schedule risks and drive mitigation actions to keep projects on track
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems (power distribution, switchgear, UPS, lighting, grounding, and controls)
- Interpret electrical design packages, drawings, BIM models, and specifications to ensure proper installation and compliance with quality standards
- Supervise and coordinate electrical subcontractors and field personnel
- Manage manpower planning, resolve scheduling conflicts, and maintain alignment across trades
- Lead site meetings and electrical coordination discussions
- Manage site logistics including material deliveries, equipment staging, and installation sequencing for electrical scope
- Ensure work areas are ready and support safe, efficient workflow on site
- Enforce safety standards, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and electrical compliance requirements
- Support system energization, turnover, and commissioning activities
- Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
Skills Required:
- 3–5 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent or similar leadership role in a semiconductor, data center, or mission-critical environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems including medium/low voltage distribution, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and controls
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, BIM models, and technical documentation
- Experience coordinating electrical scope within multi-trade construction environments
- Strong understanding of NEC codes, safety standards, and commissioning processes
- Proven leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Education / Licenses / Certifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable
