Overview of Role Reporting to Manager of Product Commercialization & Engineering, you will undergo a 1 to 2-years structured training program including rotations within the manufacturing departments including New Product Introduction, Tooling, Injection Molding, Assembly/Automation etc. After this training program, you will be assigned with a critical role in the Manufacturing Excellence department to continue a strong partnership with our Manufacturing Partner. The critical role could be ensuring BOA Injection molds & plastic parts are manufactured at best-in-class standards, improving the product introduction process and mold qualification process, leading continuous improvement in injection molding workshop. Core Responsibilities • Reflect and role model BOA’s vision, values and Leadership Model and demonstrate passion for our mission across the Manufacturing Excellence team and rest of the organization • Participate in rotations across the manufacturing excellence team focusing on plastic injection and tooling engineering to gain comprehensive knowledge of design for manufacturing efficiency • Collaborate with global teams and supplier partners contribute to projects and initiatives within Manufacturing Excellence function • Perform simulation analysis for plastic or metal products and modify product designs based on simulation & discussions with cross functional team to support product development • Support entire product commercialization process through product design to mold qualification and production • Conduct data and case analysis to support daily operations such as problem solving and project progress review • Proactively learn new skills and tools relevant to support solving manufacturing problems with creative solutions or recommendations Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Plastics Engineering or other related areas • Graduated in recent 2 years • Proficiency in 3D CAD or simulation software: SolidWorks, UG, Moldex3D or Autodesk Moldflow • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals • Open-mindedness and ability to work effectively with diverse teams We Offer We're committed to helping our people be themselves, be well, and grow.
