Job Description

Amazon Australia is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join the Low ASP (Average Selling Price) team within our 3P Marketplace and Stores business. This role is critical to our strategy of expanding selection, improving competitiveness, and driving growth in low-priced product categories that are essential to everyday Australian shoppers.

As a Product Manager on the Low ASP team, you will own end-to-end strategy and execution for programs that grow selection, improve pricing, and enhance the customer experience through product innovations for low-ASP categories. You will work cross-functionally with Seller Services, Category Management, Supply Chain, and Technology teams to remove friction for sellers and deliver value to customers.

This is a high-visibility role that requires a balance of strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on execution. You will define the roadmap, set goals, and drive measurable business outcomes while navigating ambiguity in a fast-moving marketplace environment.

This position requires full-time in-office presence 5 days per week at our CBD location.

Key job responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for Low ASP categories, defining success metrics (selection growth, price competitiveness, conversion rate, customer adoption) and delivering against them.
- Develop and execute seller acquisition and engagement programs to expand Low ASP selection on Amazon.com.au, focusing on high-demand categories where customers seek affordable options.
- Analyse pricing and competitiveness data to identify gaps and drive initiatives to close those gaps through seller incentives, fee structures, and operational improvements.
- Partner with Technology and Product teams to build scalable tools, automation, and self-service capabilities that reduce seller friction and accelerate Low ASP selection onboarding.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with Category Management, Supply Chain, and Operations to optimise the end-to-end customer experience for low-priced products (e.g., shipping cost, delivery speed, product quality).
- Define and run experiments (A/B tests, pilots) to validate hypotheses and iterate on program design based on data and customer feedback.
- Create and present business reviews (WBR/MBR/QBR) to senior leadership, clearly articulating progress, blockers, and strategic recommendations.
- Build mechanisms for ongoing performance monitoring, anomaly detection, and rapid response to emerging trends in the Low ASP space.
- Collaborate with regional and global counterparts to share learnings, align on best practices, and localise global programs for the Australian market.
- Influence without authority across multiple teams and stakeholder groups, driving alignment on shared goals and priorities.

A day in the life
In this role, you will focus on building scalable programs that connect sellers with customers seeking affordable products across high-demand categories. You might start your day reviewing performance data to identify gaps in selection or pricing competitiveness, then collaborate with our Seller Services team to design incentive programs that drive participation. Later, you could be working with our Technology team to prototype a new self-service tool that reduces friction for sellers, or presenting findings from a recent experiment to leadership. You will move fluidly between strategic planning and hands-on execution, balancing the ambiguity of a fast-moving marketplace with data-driven decision-making. Your work directly impacts both the sellers who build their businesses on our platform and the customers who depend on us for everyday value.
