Key Responsibilities Cooks, bakes, or serves regular and/or special meals to clients and/or staff. Ensures that food is maintained at appropriate temperatures. Prepares salads and garnishes and assists in basic food preparation or ordering. Distributes food using appropriate food handling and sanitation techniques Practices of food safety and public health protection Maintains inventory Tracks receipts Cleans, sterilizes and or disinfects areas and/or equipment. A food service worker prepares and serves food, cleans dining and kitchen areas, and operates equipment while following safety and sanitation guidelines. Stocking: Replenishing food items, supplies, condiments, and dishware. Ensuring deliveries are correct. Compliance: Adhering to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
