Financial Analyst II

Key responsibilities and day to day responsibilities of this position: Prepare and distribute recurring financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics. Assist with monthly financial forecasting, budget monitoring, and financial reporting activities. Conduct reconciliations and research discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records and reporting. Review and process financial transactions while ensuring compliance with agency policies, procedures, and internal controls. Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that support operational and financial decision-making. Support cost accounting, workload analysis, and resource allocation initiatives. Assist with process improvement efforts designed to increase efficiency, transparency, and accuracy. Maintain financial coding structures and support accurate financial reporting across programs and divisions. Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the agency to provide financial support, answer questions, and identify solutions to business challenges. Perform other related duties as assigned.
