About the Team & Role: At TikTok, our Global Business Solutions (advertising) team plays a crucial role in generating revenue by promoting our advertising solutions, onboarding new clients, driving effective ad campaigns, and more. As the TikTok community continues to grow at an unprecedented rate worldwide, our GBS team leads groundbreaking projects that are transforming the advertising industry in real time. This position sits within the US Enterprise Agency team and focuses on connecting TikTok's vibrant and growing creators and users with the brands and businesses they know and love. The Agency Partnerships Manager (APM) is responsible for hitting revenue goals, building relationships with advertising agencies, and helping agencies drive business results on TikTok through product consultation, education, and support. Success as an APM requires strong sales skills, a strong partnership with Client Solutions Managers (CSM), problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing environment. TikTok currently observes a hybrid working policy of 3 days in the office each week and 2 days working remotely. This position is full-time and based out of our New York City, NY office.

Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert in TikTok solutions for businesses and adapt recommendations quickly to suit varying agency needs
  • Lead account planning process that aligns agency and TikTok resources to maximize opportunities
  • Create compelling sales presentations and proposals utilizing internal and external data
  • Grow revenue, educate, and lead strategic conversations with clients and navigate complex relationships
  • Demonstrate expertise in all matters relevant to your book of business, including escalation and troubleshooting to resolve client issues
  • Spearhead client education on products and give product updates to advise on the best approach to drive business outcomes for clients and agencies
  • Work cross-functionally within sales and other TikTok teams to drive revenue and increase customer satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities to improve ad products and the customer experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of direct agency experience, having done media sales, brand advertising, and/or online advertising experience
  • Experience within digital media (i.e., Digital TV CTV, OTT, social media, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Track record of building compelling presentations leveraging industry and internal proof points
  • Knowledge of the self-serve platform, auction, and biddable form of digital advertising buying
  • Proven ability to establish relationships with advertisers, agencies, and C-level relationships
  • Track record of delivering and exceeding revenue goals
  • A team player and collaborator
