Job Description
What you’ll do:
- Promote and sell Eaton products to System Integrators, Electrical contractors, Consultants, MOEM's, Electrical Resellers and end users by sticking to our Channel Route to Market Strategy.
- Work with Consultants to get Eaton products specified in various end user segments. Work with EWS Wholesalers to forecast stock for upcoming Projects for OEM's, Electrical Contractors and System Integrators.(Sales will be rewarded as per the Sales Out Reports) Where pricing is sensative to win the project make use of C-Pro application and SIOP to ensure Eaton wins the business agains our competition.
- SIOP products for your direct accounts to ensure on time delivery.
- Provide Technical Support to customers on the PMCC Products to help win business.
- Prepare Presentations to clients on product offerings and technologies and do training from time to time with customer base and relevant consultants.
- Develop and maintain customer database by systematically and continously calling at customers with the specific view of promoting PDC and ICPD.
- Build sound relationships with market influencers (eg. Consulting Engineers, Contractors and End users).
- Identify opportunities so that our products and services can be offered to satisfy applications, offer solutions and provide customers with appropriate level of technical and total cost of ownership advise so they can evaluate and make competitive decisions.
- Gather market intelligence, and benchmark against our competition to know and understand the market.
- Work according to a Territory plan and manage partners by continuously updating your Account Action Plan.
- Support your customer base on marketing planning and activities. Work with FPM's to ensure correct products are available for market growth.
- Develop a product offering for System Integrators to ensure market support on Eaton products.
- Cross sell and upsell where needed. Achieve sales target on PMCC products for Eaton Southern Africa on System Integrators, OEM, Electrical resellers and Electrical Contractors - while keeping in the bounds of Eaton's Route to market strategy.
- Keep yourself and your customers informed and updated with Eaton's products and Route to market strategy.
- Implement our Channel Partner Awards Programs for various customer bases. Use SalesForce to ensure accurate details of sales calls, opportunities and activities to ensure an accurate and stable current & future pipeline. Also record any losses and other relavenat information that management can use to improve competitive advantages.
Qualifications:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in channel environment, Track record demonstrating good understanding of product and market competition, Proven track record of being highly skilled, motivated, successful and results-orientated.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced and changing market environment.
- Ability to prepare tenders and proposals using MS Office, eg: Word, Excel and Power Point.bility to manage and promote channel sales via a distribution model, which includes joint calls and marketing activities with our Channel partners to End users, resellers and System Integrators.
- Technical qualification in order to use the xEnergy Configurator, XSpider Software (Circuit breaker cascading and co-ordination tool) and be able to explain the value proposition of a tiered circuit breaker valued proposition
- Public Presentation skills. Extensive experience with all aspects of customer relationship management
