The role involves leading the design and construction of mechanical and piping systems, including reviewing drawings and preparing technical documents. Responsibilities include supervising on-site installation to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project goals. Candidates with experience in chiller and process cooling water system design are preferred.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Review & comprehend design and construction drawings
• Lead the design and construction of Mechanical/Piping system equipment. 
• Responsible for preparation & approval of project specific specifications, datasheets, Calculations etc.. 
• Oversee on-site mechanical and piping system installation, ensuring performance, schedule, budget, safety, and commissioning.
• Evaluate technical bid document and prepare recommendation report for purchase of major mechanical and piping equipment.
• Responsible for the approval of method statements, sub-contractors submittals, shop drawings 
• Coordinate internally with other disciplines for interface requirements. 
• Involved in all elements of construction process from inception to completion including system start-up and commissioning 
• Responsible for interfacing with our clients and sub-contractors as well as technical and financial elements of the work scope. 
• Carry out site visits / site surveys. 
• Attend project design team meetings and project review meetings. 
• Communicate directly with the Client. 
• Interact and communicate with own department, other departments, project team members, clients and other external parties to ensure co-ordination of activities. 
• Prepare technical documents, including checking as appropriate, in accordance with agreed schedules and ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements. 
• Liaise with Procurement Department on the preparation and evaluation of procurement and tender documentation 
• Plan and deliver multiple tasks in a timely fashion to meet project schedules. 
• Provide site support for construction, installation, commissioning, modification

• 10 years related experiences
• Experience in dealing with project managers in different types of projects in the construction industry ie semi-conductors, pharmaceutical, life science, etc
• Experience in construction planning related to industrial building facility 
• Driving license (car) 
• MS office：Excel and PowerPoint
• Understanding of Codes and Engineering Standards of International Clients 
• Highly proficient in communication 
• Cross culturally aware and adaptable 
• Being assertive and confident 
• Able to impact and influence 
• Excellent team work 
• Strong Influential skills
