Auria is looking to hire a Mission Director to support a classified mission operations program for the U.S. Space Force. This early hire contributes space operations domain expertise to training curriculum development and operations concept design ahead of facility activation, then transitions to leading operations crews when the mission operations center becomes operational.
Primary work location is Colorado Springs, CO (hybrid). Travel to Government facilities may be required.

- Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assigned mission areas, ensuring SOPs support initial operator certification.
- As facility activation approaches, assume Mission Director duties: lead assigned operations crews during mission execution, manage shift handoffs, and serve as the operational decision authority during assigned periods.

- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Top SECRET security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Operations, Engineering, or related discipline).
- 8–11 years of experience in space operations, mission operations, or related DoW operational environments.
- Demonstrated experience directing mission operations or leading operations crews in a classified Government or defense contractor environment.

- Prior experience standing up or transitioning a new operations center from development to operational status.
- CISSP, Security+, or equivalent DoW 8140 certification.
