Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Full‑Time • Exempt • Onsite (Lewisville, TX)

We are seeking a strategic and people‑focused Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Lewisville operations. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to leadership—aligning HR strategies with business goals while driving employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and operational success.

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, you’ll play a key role in shaping workplace culture, optimizing talent, and ensuring compliance—all while delivering a high level of service to employees and leaders across Multiquip Inc.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Partnership & Organizational Effectiveness

  • Partner with site leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with operational goals, productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Provide coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and talent development.
  • Analyze workforce metrics and trends to identify opportunities and recommend data‑driven solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, policies, and programs.

Employee Relations & Performance Management

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance concerns, and policy interpretation.
  • Coach leaders on goal setting (SMART goals), feedback delivery, and documentation.
  • Conduct and support internal investigations, ensuring fair and compliant outcomes.
  • Support the annual performance management cycle, including system administration and reporting.

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage job postings across platforms using Greenhouse ATS.
  • Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and support hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Conduct candidate interviews and provide hiring recommendations.
  • Coordinate and administer background checks, including employment verification and screenings.

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Facilitate onboarding, ensuring a seamless new hire experience and accurate HRIS data management (ADP Workforce Now).
  • Oversee offboarding processes, including exit interviews, benefits coordination, and system updates.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity across HR systems.
  • Support payroll and HR operational compliance.

Leave of Absence & Workers’ Compensation

  • Manage LOA programs (FMLA, CFRA, PDL, Workers’ Compensation), including tracking, documentation, and communication.
  • Oversee workers’ compensation claims administration and return‑to‑work programs.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance and manage reporting requirements (including OSHA 300 logs).
  • Support audits and annual reporting, including salary forecasting by class code.

Benefits & Retirement Administration

  • Support benefits enrollment, life event changes, and open enrollment processes.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS data and coordinate with benefit carriers.
  • Reconcile benefit invoices and resolve discrepancies.
  • Administer 401(k) plans, including employee inquiries and annual reporting.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Partner with EH&S teams to promote a culture of safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in safety committees and maintain compliance training records.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, Texas regulations).

Learning, Development & Engagement

  • Identify training needs and recommend development programs.
  • Coordinate learning initiatives, including compliance and professional development training.
  • Support internal communications, leadership meetings, and employee engagement activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive employee experience.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Provide direct supervision to one HR team member.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and development efforts.
  • Address employee concerns and administer corrective actions as needed.

What You Bring

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, employee relations, and HR best practices.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments preferred.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, or SHRM‑SCP.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Greenhouse ATS.

Technical Skills

  • HRIS systems and employee data management.
  • Workforce analytics and reporting.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, including:
    • Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas)
    • Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Reporting and analysis of turnover, headcount, workforce planning, and HR metrics.

Communication & Work Style

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.
  • High level of discretion with confidential information.
  • Data‑driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and facilitating productive outcomes.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $85,000.00-$105,000.00/yr
  • 11 paid Holidays
  • Generous Paid Time Off — accrue up to 4 weeks per year
