Help Build the Supply Chain Behind the Next Generation of AI Technology
At Smart High Tech (SHT), we're developing advanced graphene-enhanced thermal interface materials that help solve one of the biggest challenges in modern technology: heat management.
Our products are designed for some of the world's most demanding applications within AI infrastructure, semiconductors, high-performance computing, data centers, and advanced electronics.
As we continue to scale globally, expand our manufacturing capabilities, and strengthen our international partnerships, we're looking for a Purchaser / Global Sourcing to join our team.

Your Mission
As Purchaser, you will play a critical role in ensuring that Smart High Tech has the suppliers, materials, equipment, and partnerships required to support our rapid growth.
You will work closely with Production, R&D, Quality, Operations, and Management while building and managing supplier relationships across Europe and Asia.
A significant part of the role involves collaboration with suppliers and manufacturers in China, making experience from Chinese business environments highly valuable.
What You'll Do
Sourcing & Procurement
Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard suppliers globally.
Manage supplier contracts, pricing, delivery terms, and commercial agreements.
Continuously improve supplier performance, quality, cost, and reliability.
Supplier Development & Relationship Management
Build strong, long-term partnerships with suppliers and manufacturing partners.
Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and performance reviews.
Work proactively to reduce supply chain risks and dependencies.
Support supplier quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
China & International Sourcing
Manage sourcing activities and supplier relationships across China and Asia.
Coordinate procurement activities with international manufacturing partners.
Support negotiations, supplier visits, and commercial discussions.
Navigate cultural and business differences effectively.
Supply Chain & Manufacturing Support
Ensure availability of critical materials, equipment, and components.
Support production scale-up initiatives and future factory expansion projects.
Collaborate closely with Operations, Production, and Quality teams.
Contribute to inventory optimisation and supply planning activities.
Risk Management
Monitor market developments, supplier risks, and geopolitical factors.
Develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies.
Strengthen supply chain resilience and operational continuity.

You thrive in international environments and understand the importance of balancing cost, quality, delivery, and long-term partnerships.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Several years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management.
Experience working with international suppliers and manufacturers.
Strong negotiation and commercial management skills.
Experience managing supplier relationships and contracts.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Highly Meritorious
Experience working directly with suppliers and manufacturing partners in China.
Mandarin language skills (spoken and/or written).
