SALARY: Starting Salary Opportunity: $44,400+

  • Actual base pay will depend and vary based on factors such as individual experience and skills of the applicant. 

BONUS: Bonus at Target $4,884 

  • Variable Compensation opportunities are contingent on individual performance and overall business results, pursuant to the Bonus Plan; listed amount are targeted values and not guarantees

LOCATION: Toronto Office, 5 days/week in office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure they are operating efficiently and effectively.  
  • Coordinate and oversee all maintenance and repairs for Labatt facilities, including working with external contractors when necessary.  
  • Monitor and manage the inventory of all facility supplies and materials, ensuring they are available when needed.  
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all facility inspections and maintenance activities. 
  • Support the Facilities Manager in the development and implementation of long-term facility plans, including upgrades and improvements.  
  • Print cheques and make the daily deposits to guarantee payments related to different areas from Labatt are paid on time. 
  • Place various orders related to office supplies, business cards and other special requests. 
  • Work as a backup in reception when necessary 
  • Support any requests related to guaranteeing security in the office – access cards (activation and deactivation), schedule security guards and manage HVAC and lights for special events. 
  •  Manage payments and provide specific information (payment dates, purchase orders numbers, etc) for different vendors related to the office. 
  •  Work with procurement to set up vendors in the system and define payment terms. 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
  • Experience coordinating maintenance activities and working with external vendors or contractors preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with facilities or project management tools is an asset.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
