Roles & Responsibilities:
- Proficient in Design & Development of Complete Seating Systems (Seats).
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements of North America (FMVSS),
Europe (ECE), and other regions.
- Developing & maintaining of DFMEA, Engineering open issues list.
- Good knowledge of seat comfort / craftsmanship requirements and
- Good knowledge of seat trim cover design and development.
- Preparing DVP and understanding of various OEM specific requirements.
- Proficiency in the design of Sheet metal Components, foam pads, plastics and
mechanisms integration.
- Product feasibility study & development of new parts in co-ordination with
plant team & Supplier
- BOM creation, 2d drawings, manufacturing drawings
- RFQ and costing of new projects.
- Knowledge of PDM & PLM
- Mentoring of the junior engineers in the team and conducting performance
appraisals.
Qualification & Experience:
- 8-12 years Experience
- BE Mechanical/Automobile
