Step into a specialist role where your insights help leaders see what’s coming next. As Risk Intelligence & Insights Specialist, you’ll support IAG’s Intermediated Insurance business, partnering across iconic brands such as CGU and WFI. Your focus will be on turning complex operational risk data into clear, forward looking intelligence that shapes decisions before issues escalate. This role moves beyond reactive reporting, helping leaders focus on what really matters. You’ll build insight packs, dashboards and narratives that cut through noise and support smarter prioritisation across the business.
This is a permanent full-time role based in multiple locations across Australia.
What You'll Do
• Analyse large, complex operational risk datasets to identify trends, emerging risks and forward looking insights for senior leaders.
• Build concise dashboards, insight packs and reports that make risk information clear, relevant and decision ready.
• Apply professional judgement to distinguish material operational risk issues from background noise and data limitations.
• Own the quality, accuracy and integrity of risk reporting outputs across systems and data sources.
• Partner with Risk & Assurance and business leaders to ensure insights inform prioritisation and action.
• Continuously uplift reporting maturity by improving data quality, analytics approaches and insight storytelling.
What You'll Bring
• Strong analytical capability with experience synthesising complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Expertise in operational risk, controls or quality assurance, with the ability to explain risk trends in a practical and meaningful way is advantageous
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including its dashboarding capabilities, and external tools such as Tableau or similar platforms
• Confidence working with imperfect data, using judgement to draw out meaningful signals and trends that inform decisions.
• Clear and confident communicator who can distil complexity into sharp, decision ready insights for senior leaders.
• Practical experience demonstrating how insights have influenced decisions or improved outcomes
