Responsibilities

The Stewardship Officer designs, implements, and manages comprehensive donor recognition and engagement programs that ensure timely, meaningful appreciation of philanthropic support. This role serves as the departmental lead for non-solicitation touchpoints, systematically tracking gift milestones to coordinate outreach through personalized communications, donor recognition gifts, and high-quality stewardship events. Additionally, the Stewardship Officer manages physical recognition assets, including donor signage and branded collateral inventory.
 
An essential internal partner, the Stewardship Officer collaborates across the development team to provide fundraisers with creative engagement ideas and drafted communications, including personalized stewardship reports and annual impact messaging. By blending operational tracking with creative appreciation, the Stewardship Officer elevates the overall donor experience to strengthen long-term retention and engagement.
 

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field required
Experience
  • 3 years of experience in donor relations, stewardship, fundraising, or high-end customer service required
