What is the Opportunity?

The Senior Manager, Total Rewards Delivery Modernization plays a critical role in the selection and configuration of the compensation planning tool to ensure it is configured to be able to manage the components of RBCs annual incentive plans globally. 

What will you do?

  • Ensure compensation planning tool:

    • Utilizes global standards while aligning with local regulatory requirements.

    • Aligns to current and future business strategies.

  • Collaborate with key business partners (Total Rewards, IT, Performance, HR Operations, HR Business Partners, Sales Effectiveness teams, etc.) to:

    • Understand current business processes and challenges.

    • Develop and execute on each incentive plan business requirements.

  • Configuration of the compensation planning tool to ensure it meets business requirements.

  • Influence change by providing creative, efficient, automated, scalable solutions for complex requirements and system limitations.

  • Develop compensation planning playbook including year-end cycle timelines, roles and responsibilities, governance frameworks, etc.

  • Utilize strong project management capabilities to ensure effective and successful delivery of process efficiency solutions - adherence to project schedule, budget, and attainment of project goals.

  • Ensure the re-prioritization of short, mid, and long-term goals as needed.

  • Assessing business or process requirements, completing research and analysis to determine viable solutions, and making recommendations for alternatives and enhancements.

  • Identifying strengths and weaknesses of existing internal processes, methods and tools. Presenting findings and recommendations to business process owners and project teams.

  • Using appropriate tools to perform problem determination and root cause analysis; illustrating bottlenecks, redundancies, vulnerabilities and opportunities for enhanced efficiency or effectiveness.

  • Providing technical expertise on available technologies and processes to improve quality, customer satisfaction and cost performance.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • Strong working knowledge of Human Resources Compensation Information Systems specifically SAP - SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay modules or Workday.

  • Undergraduate degree.

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in business process modelling and reengineering.

  • 3+ years’ Total Rewards / Compensation experience.

  • 5 to 7 years’ experience as a proven leader driving large and complex cross-functional program delivery, leading change, team collaboration, transparency, and alignment on goals and expectations.

  • Advanced communication and facilitation skills (verbal and written) with experience tailoring messages to diverse audiences, delivering presentations and facilitating inclusive discussions with senior-level audiences.

  • Understanding and experience with risk and issue management frameworks, including the ability to conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain transparency in reporting.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in managing transformational compensation and technology programs at a large financial services company, across global jurisdictions.

  • Interest and ability in leveraging AI to increase operational efficiencies and consistency.
