Position Overview
Deigns by Sundown is seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Lighting Technician to join our team. In this role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high-quality outdoor lighting systems for premium residential properties. Successful candidates will have experience with low-voltage lighting systems, electrical troubleshooting, and outdoor installations, while delivering an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Install landscape lighting fixtures, wiring, and complete outdoor lighting systems
- Perform low-voltage electrical wiring installations and repairs
- Mount, wire, and program transformers
- Program and code ZD/ZDC lighting fixtures
- Read, interpret, and execute lighting design plans and installation layouts
- Conduct landscape lighting system inspections, diagnostics, and performance checks
- Troubleshoot electrical and low-voltage system issues
- Repair and replace lighting fixtures, wiring, transformers, and related components
- Ensure all installations and repairs meet company quality and safety standards
- Provide professional communication and exceptional service to residential clients
- Maintain an organized vehicle, tools, and work area
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of low-voltage lighting experience
- Experience with landscape lighting, low-voltage systems, or electrical work preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned projects
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
