Location - Wahroonga (hybrid role once trained)
Permanent Full time role
Pay rate – $46.35 per hour + superannuation
Up to $18,550 tax free with Not for profit Salary Packaging

We have an exciting opportunity for a strong people leader who loves variety and thrives in a dynamic environment. This role is primarily office based, with the occasional support visit and regular Community Worker meetings across Northern Sydney. Join a supportive team and lead and support our Community Workers who provide care to Older Australians living in the community. Day to day this role looks like:
Championing Catholic Healthcare’s mission, values and person-centred approach, while contributing as a key member of the Regional Leadership Team
Leading, coaching and supporting Community Workers through regular feedback, performance reviews and ongoing development conversations
Fostering a positive, respectful and culturally inclusive team environment that promotes engagement, collaboration and high performance
Coordinating training, orientation and onboarding programs, ensuring mandatory learning and safety requirements are fully met
Recruiting, interviewing and selecting new team members within approved headcount, and providing effective induction to set employees up for success.
Mentoring Community Workers through competency assessments, support visits, incident follow-up and timely resolution of concerns or complaints
Driving recognition, career development and progression planning, ensuring employees are supported to achieve performance standards and professional goals
Maintaining compliance with organisational policies, aged care legislation, workplace safety, infection control, confidentiality and continuous improvement requirements
To be successful in this role you’ll need:
Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing teams to achieve strong performance outcomes
Experience in recruitment, onboarding, training and day-to-day supervision of staff
Strong computer skills and confidence using systems to manage workforce, compliance and reporting requirements
Sound understanding of enterprise agreements, awards and people management practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and connect teams to organisational goals
A positive, solutions-focused leadership style, with the ability to inspire others, solve problems and drive continuous improvement
