Security Specialist

SUMMARY

To help provide a safe environment for the staff, patients, visitors, and volunteers of PPSE. To collaborate with leadership in the management of high-quality security and emergency programs for the Agency that includes giving input for policies, operations, communication, and training for all staff and maintain security intelligence programs, technical systems, databases, tools, and protocols for PPSE’s operations throughout the Atlanta area.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Ability to communicate effectively with multiple audiences.  

2. Ability to work independently and as a team member.  

3. Ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects simultaneously.  

4. Self-motivated, with ability to work with little direct supervision.  

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  

6. Accuracy and attention to detail essential.  

7. Must have the willingness and ability to adapt to change including advances in technology.

8. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

9. Must have excellent customer service skills and be committed to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction.

10. Must have strong analytical, investigative, and pattern recognition skills.

11. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers of all backgrounds.

12. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required.

13. Ability and willingness to travel within Atlanta, Cobb, Gwinnett, and DeKalb Counties.

14. Reliable means of transportation for onsite and off-site work.

15. If using a personal vehicle to drive for work purposes, a valid state driver license and current auto insurance in compliance with the minimum requirements of the state’s vehicle code are required.
