Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our RST team. In this role, you will work on advanced systems including recovery boilers, biomass boilers, and marine scrubbers, supporting both business development and on-site service delivery.
Job Responsibilities:
1.Contribute to service business development of in RST team, including recovery boiler, biomass boiler and marine scrubber.
2.Visit and interact with customers for opportunity identification, especially for recovery boiler and marine scrubber services. Prepare technical solution to specific tasks.
3.Conduct audits at customer sites and analyze process improvement opportunities.
4.Learn new technical service skills and keep improving on next repeated services. Apply for Valmet FSC when there is a chance.
5.Quickly respond to customer inquiry. Work out feasible solutions with the support of colleagues in other teams and third-party partners.
6.Provide assistance for the installation and commissioning during project when required.
7.Carry out service calls based on Valmet standards and customer requests.
Serve as project coordinator at site to offer preventative and reactive basis as required, undertaking service and repair of products and systems.
8.Keep records of work progress, delays, problems, deliveries, modifications, engineering and fabrication errors.
9.Report on the completed projects outlining the activities carried out, faults found during service and any future recommendations for improving the service offering.
10.Train customer staff in methods to maintain and repair the equipment, to ensure knowledge is transferred in a proper way.
11.Be responsible for project profit, starting from quotation, purchasing and through the whole process of site service.
12.Cooperate with colleagues in CAP, P&E, PER for information share and resources share.
13. Be able to adapt to changing needs of services
14. Be able to work under pressure and solve problems almost independently at site after check with managers or seniors.
15. Frequent travelling is required
Expectations for you :
1.More than 3 years working experience of mechanical at least in one of them: recovery boiler, biomass boiler or marine scrubber.
2. Effective knowledge and skills in above areas. E&I or automation skills are preferred.
3. Effective customer process knowledge and skills are required.
4. Be good at coordination complex at site
5. A quicker learner of new technical skills and willing to share internally
5.Multi-task player and clear of priorities
6. Setup wide network internally and externally. Improve negotiation skills with customers for win-win result
7. Good English in oral and written to communicate with foreign colleagues.
