We are seeking a Director to lead and scale our strategic partnership with Google Cloud within our Cloud & Infrastructure practice. This leader will work with our alliance manager to drive partner growth, client transformation initiatives, and practice development while serving as a trusted advisor to both Google Cloud and enterprise clients.
The ideal candidate combines executive leadership with deep expertise across Google Cloud technologies, cloud-native architecture, data platforms, AI/ML services, and modernization programs.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Google Cloud Alliance Growth
- Own and expand strategic relationships with Google Cloud partner leaders, account teams, customer engineers, and alliance stakeholders
- Develop and execute joint GTM strategies aligned to industry and solution priorities
- Identify, originate, and close new business opportunities through Google Cloud partner channels and co-sell programs
- Drive pipeline generation through:
- Partner-sourced opportunities
- Marketplace initiatives
- Joint marketing programs
- Google Cloud funding opportunities
- Work with the WM alliance manager to review and action on alliance KPI reporting including:
- Pipeline generation
- Revenue influence
- Certifications
- Partner tier performance
- Funding utilization
- Collaborate with Google Cloud stakeholders to position consulting, migration, modernization, and AI-enabled solutions
- Collaborate with internal sales and delivery leaders to maximize GCP-sourced opportunities
Client Delivery & Google Cloud Architecture Leadership
- Provide executive oversight and technical leadership across Google Cloud client engagements
- Guide teams in designing scalable, secure, Google Cloud native solutions
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives leveraging Google Cloud services and platform capabilities
- Oversee architecture and implementation of:
- Landing zones
- Cloud governance frameworks
- Security and compliance controls
- Work across WM technology disciplines to support enterprise transformation initiatives involving:
- Application modernization
- Data modernization
- Analytics platforms
- AI and machine learning enablement
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, platform engineering practices, and cloud cost optimization
- Support complex pursuits through architecture design, solution development, and delivery planning
- Serve as executive escalation point for delivery quality, client outcomes, and engagement profitability
Practice & People Development
- Work across WM technology disciplines to define and evolve Google Cloud-focused service offerings including:
- Cloud Migration & Modernization
- Platform Engineering
- FinOps
- Cloud Security
- Establish Google Cloud architecture standards, accelerators, and delivery methodologies
- Recruit, mentor, and develop cloud architects, engineers, and delivery leaders
- Drive certification attainment and Google Cloud technical capability development
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or technology consulting leadership roles
- Deep expertise designing and delivering solutions on Google Cloud Platform
- Experience leading large-scale cloud transformation and migration initiatives
- Strong knowledge of:
- Compute Engine
- GKE
- Cloud Run
- Networking and hybrid connectivity
- IAM and security services
- Operations Suite
- Experience with Google Cloud data and AI services preferred, including:
- BigQuery
- Vertex AI
- Dataflow
- Dataproc
- Demonstrated success managing Google Cloud alliance relationships and driving revenue growth through partner ecosystems
- Experience navigating Google Cloud partner programs and co-sell motions
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, DevOps, and cloud governance frameworks
- Google Cloud certifications strongly preferred, including:
- Professional Cloud Architect
- Professional Cloud Network Engineer
- Professional Cloud Security Engineer
- Willingness to travel approximately 30–50%
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) into day-to-day workflows to enhance productivity and insight generation, coupled with strong critical thinking to assess accuracy, mitigate bias, and ensure high-quality outputs.
Based on pay transparency guidelines, a reasonable expectation for the salary range for this role is listed below. Information on our competitive total rewards package, including our bonus structure and benefits is here. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity. Employees in proximity of our Seattle, Washington DC, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco offices will have a geographic premium applied to this salary scale.
Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Eligibility for ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available upon hire date.
