Arla MENA is the largest and most profitable Region within Arla’s International Zone and plans are in place to continue the strong growth in the Region in the coming years – and now is your chance to join the team and be part of the exciting journey! Our Food Service Sales team in Muscat, Oman, is hiring for a Junior Key Account Manager. In this role you would drive sales growth, distribution expansion, and customer relationships in the Salalah region across the Foodservice channel (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés, QSR). The role will support key accounts, ensure execution excellence, and identify new business opportunities aligned with Arla’s strategy.

 

Key responsibilities of the role

  • Drive to achieve sales volume, revenue, and margin targets for assigned accounts
  • Develop new business in HoReCa, QSR, and café segments and expand distribution and product penetration across Salalah by identify opportunities to grow our strategic brands (e.g., cheese, cream, butter).
  • Manage and build strong relationships with existing key customers, ensure contract compliance, pricing execution, and agreed terms
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts for the Salalah region
  • Coordinate with supply chain & distributor to ensure stock availability
  • Track performance vs targets and take corrective actions
  • Work closely with distributor sales teams to ensure Route coverage, customer visits and order generation and collection efficiency.

 

What will make you successful?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or related field
  • You will have at least 2–4 years experience in Foodservice / FMCG sales with preferable experience handling HoReCa/QSR accounts preferred
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Good understanding of Foodservice market dynamics in Oman (preferably Salalah)
  • Data-driven with ability to analyze sales performance
  • Excellent communication (English required; Arabic is a plus)
  • Self-driven, proactive, and result-oriented
