Supply Planner, Global Planning, Arla Foods Ingredients (Maternity cover) - Aarhus

Working closely with external and internal stakeholders, you will help resolve day-to-day challenges, coordinate activities, and ensure that products are delivered as planned,” says Head of Global Planning, Jacob Møller Herskind.

How you will make an impact

As Supply Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and following up on short-term supply plans with our external production partner. You will work closely with colleagues at our external production partner as well as our Demand Planning, Procurement, Quality and Customer Care teams to ensure smooth execution of supply plans and timely deliveries to customers.

You will

• Balance demand and supply on a short-term horizon and execute weekly supply and production plans at the external partner in scope
• Coordinate order handling, allocation, and logistics flows in SAP to support customer demand and service levels
• Follow up with the external production partner to ensure plans are executed as agreed and issues are addressed in a timely manner
• Collaborate with customer care, quality, procurement, and logistics to resolve supply issues and secure required documentation
• Facilitate regular operational planning meetings with the partner and stakeholders to align priorities and address shortages, delays, or other deviations
• Monitor supply performance and proactively handle changes in demand, supply constraints, and operational challenges
• Support continuous improvements in planning processes and collaboration with partners.

This position is a 12-month maternity cover. The position is based in Aarhus, Denmark, and occasional travel within Scandinavia may be required.

You enjoy coordinating with different stakeholders, following up on activities, and finding practical solutions when plans change. You take ownership of your tasks, communicate clearly, and work well across functions and organizational boundaries.

Furthermore, you likely bring

• Around 2-4 years of experience within supply chain, logistics, production planning, customer service, or similar operational roles
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Solid analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
• Fluency in English; Nordic language skills are an advantage.
