Strategic Buyer

Together with stakeholders in the Business Units plan and execute the procurement activities to increase efficiency and productivity for the specific category: Year on year deliver the given Cost Productivity and Cash Flow targets on the given spend portfolio by identifying, developing, leading and executing cross-country in-country procurement Cost Productivity and Cash Flow projects. Take lead on the assigned Procurement category, as to align category projects and execution thereof in REN with the business and other global/EMEA initiatives and to manage suppliers within the category (by yourself and through other buyers). You will plan, set targets and follow-up the work within REN to ensure timely deliveries. Oversee the creation and execution of supplier strategies. Deliver the financial targets such as Opex- and Capex savings is part of your role, as well to manage suppliers (by yourself and through other colleagues). You will ensure compliance with supplier contracts as well as Linde policies in all category output and be in charge to align procurement projects and execution thereof in REN with the business and other global/EMEA initiatives. In addition, you will evaluate supplier performance and ensuring corrective measures. Developing inter-department interfaces and work methodology Review new suppliers and shopping carts in the relevant procurement system.
