Position Purpose
Provides operational leadership, coordination, and oversight of Talent Management systems (HRIS). Ensures the integrity, functionality, and optimization of HR systems and employee data processes. Leads day-to-day system operations, supports system enhancements and integrations, and supervises systems staff to ensure effective, accurate, and efficient technology solutions that support records management, compliance, and organizational decision-making.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Systems Management & Data Integrity
Coordinates the administration, maintenance, and optimization of HR systems and related applications.
Ensures accuracy, integrity, and reliability of employee data across HRIS platforms.
Monitors system performance and resolves data or system-related issues.
Maintains system security protocols and ensures confidentiality of employee data.
Supports data governance standards to ensure consistency and compliance across systems.
Systems Operations & Support
Coordinates dailyoperations of Talent Management systems including Frontline, Munis, Eduphoria, Laserfiche, TabFusion, and other related platforms.
Provides functional support, troubleshooting, and user guidance for system-related issues.
Oversees user access, security roles, and system permissions.
Supports employee lifecycle processes within HR systems (onboarding, changes, separations).
Collaborates with the Records team to ensure alignment between systems and employee records processes.
Systems Enhancements & Integration
Supports system design, testing, upgrades, and enhancements.
Coordinates system integrations between HRIS, payroll, records, and other enterprise systems.
Assists with implementation of new systems, tools, or automation initiatives.
Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency through system configuration and automation.
Reporting & Data Analysis
Develops and maintains system reports, dashboards, and data extracts.
Supports workforce data analysis and reporting needs for leadership and compliance.
Ensures data quality and accuracy for reporting, audits, and decision-making.
Assists with research requests and system-based reporting inquiries.
Operational Leadership
Implements procedures and workflows aligned with department systems strategy.
Monitors daily operations of the Systems team to ensure service quality and timeliness.
Identifies process improvement opportunities and implements system-based solutions.
Coordinates system-related projects and initiatives.
Customer Service & Collaboration
Collaborates with other departments to resolve system issues and improve processes.
Provides training and guidance to end users on system functionality.
Ensures high-quality customer service and responsiveness.
Safety
Performs preventive maintenance on tools and equipment and ensures equipment is in safe operating condition.
Follows established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting and climbing; operates tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.
Corrects unsafe conditions in the work area and promptly reports any conditions that are not immediately correctable to the supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibilities & Team Leadership
Assigns work, prioritizes tasks, and ensures adherence to deadlines and service standards.
Trains staff on records procedures, compliance requirements, and system usage.
Conducts performance evaluations, coaching, and development planning.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of HRIS systems, data management, and systems integration.
Knowledge of enterprise applications such as Frontline, Munis, Eduphoria, Laserfiche, and TabFusion.
Knowledge of data governance, reporting practices, and compliance requirements.
Skill in analyzing data, troubleshooting system issues, and identifying process improvements.
Skill in developing reports, dashboards, and system documentation.
Ability to manage multiple systems, projects, and competing priorities.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data.
Ability to use software to create spreadsheets and databases.
Ability to organize and coordinate work.
Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written forms.

Travel Requirements
Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
Physical & Mental Demands, Work Hazards
Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment, including computer and peripherals.
Posture: Prolonged sitting and standing; occasional stooping, squatting, kneeling, bending, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
Motion: Frequent repetitive hand motions, including keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching.
Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds).
Environment: Works in an office setting; may require occasional irregular and/or prolonged hours.
Attendance: Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this position.
Mental Demands: Maintains emotional control under stress; works with frequent interruptions.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems or related field from an accredited college or university required;
Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
Certification/License:
None.
Experience:
3 years of progressively responsible experience in HR operations, or data/records management required.
Experience working with document management systems, HRIS platforms, and data compliance required.
Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, or integrations preferred.
Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) working proficiency preferred in some settings.
