Equipment Operator

A Light Equipment Operator safely drives and operates machinery like skid steers, mini-excavators, forklifts, and small rollers. Responsibilities include transporting materials, performing site maintenance, and executing daily safety inspections. They routinely assist with heavy manual labor and ensure work zones comply with safety standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Operate light construction, landscaping, or utility vehicles such as mini-excavators, skid steers, rollers, sweepers, forklifts, and mowers.
• Maintenance & Servicing: Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, fluid checks, and minor maintenance or repairs. Report major mechanical issues to supervisors.
• Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport materials like dirt, gravel, asphalt, and supplies to and from designated work sites.
