SUMMARY OF JOB The Facilities Janitor is responsible for the day-to-day cleaning and upkeep of the office and manufacturing areas.   ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS   General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition. Vacuum all carpeted surfaces. Sweep and mop floors. Dust/wipe down all surfaces. Clean all restrooms. Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests. Clean up spills with appropriate equipment. Collect and dispose of trash. Maintain and stock supply rooms and bathrooms as needed. Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision. Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Two (2) + years janitorial experience.   REQUIRED EDUCATION High School Diploma or general education degree (GED). No college degree is required for this position but would be helpful in the advancement opportunity.   KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES   A sense of hospitality, integrity, pride in your work and a love for cleanliness and organization. Initiative to take on tasks without being told and without being monitored. Willingness to work early morning or late-night shifts. Ability to manage time efficiently. Ability to work well under minimal supervision. Capacity to take direction. Strong attention to detail.
