Buyer/Planner
Location: Columbia, SC
What will you do?
As a Buyer Planner, you’ll be the key link between supply and demand—ensuring the right products get to the right place at the right time. You’ll manage replenishment for imported goods, handle purchasing in SAP, and balance seasonal demand with supplier capacity. Your work will help keep our shelves stocked and our customers happy, all while supporting Pure Fishing’s commitment to efficiency and growth.
What makes you a great catch?
You’re skilled in supply planning, purchasing, and inventory control.
You know your way around SAP and Excel like a pro.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills—numbers don’t just tell you a story, they help you plan the next move.
You have 2–4 years of experience in supply planning, ideally in consumer packaged goods.
You understand the challenges of seasonal selling cycles and long lead times.
A BA in business and APICS certification are great bonuses!

Your work environment
You’ll be part of our supply chain and purchasing team based in Columbia, SC, collaborating with international partners and overseas suppliers. Expect to dive into material requirement planning, seasonal forecasting, and continuous improvement projects, all in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
What you will need to succeed
2–4 years of experience in supply planning or related field
Experience with MRP purchasing and inventory control
Strong computer skills, especially Excel and SAP ECC
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to think strategically and act decisively when it comes to inventory and planning
