Accountant (Commercial)
Job Description
We’re looking for a commercially minded Accountant (Commercial) to partner with our Circular Services leadership team and help shape financial and commercial outcomes.
In this role, you’ll work closely with operational leaders, translating business needs into clear financial insights, models, and recommendations. You’ll be involved in budgeting, forecasting, pricing, performance analysis, and investment decisions - with real visibility of how your work impacts the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with operational and leadership teams to provide financial insight, guidance, and commercial analysis
- Analyse volume, pricing, cost allocation, profitability, and customer performance
- Support pricing, service, and tender modelling as required
- Prepare financial and investment models to support business decisions
- Assist with management reporting, forecasts, and business performance reviews
- Support planning and budgeting in line with divisional guidelines and timelines
- Identify opportunities to improve commercial performance and operational efficiency
About You
You’re commercially curious, confident working with stakeholders, and enjoy turning numbers into insights that influence decisions.
You’ll bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in a commercial accounting, management accounting, or business partnering role
- Working towards or on a path to CAANZ / CPA membership
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- Ability to analyse data from multiple sources and systems
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear, non-technical way
- Ability to work both collaboratively within a finance team and autonomously
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- A genuine interest in learning new systems, processes, and business streams
