SMB plays a critical role in seller acquisition, incubation, and education, forming the foundation for a robust and scalable ecosystem on TikTok Shop. As a Merchant Strategist, you will work closely with business teams to drive merchant growth and improve operational efficiency, ultimately contributing to sustainable scale expansion for the platform.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Break down business goals, develop SMB merchant growth strategies and budget plans, and ensure effective execution
- Build data-driven merchant growth models and segmentation frameworks to identify high-potential and at-risk merchants, and propose targeted strategies
- Conduct deep analysis of merchant performance, industry trends, and market dynamics to generate actionable business insights
- Establish and monitor key operational metrics and produce essential dashboards and reports
- Support major strategic initiatives (e. efficiency improvement, content supply enhancement) and continuously iterate based on measurable outcomes
- Identify business risks and efficiency gaps, and recommend strategy or process optimization solutions
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, consulting, strategy, or business analytics
- Strong analytical, structured thinking, and strategy development skills
- Proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to independently diagnose issues, design solutions, and drive execution
- Proficiency in analytical tools (SQL, Tableau, Excel, etc.)
- Solid understanding of merchant lifecycle, segmentation, incentive mechanisms, and content supply dynamics
