The Senior Accountant-Regulatory plays a key role in managing bank reconciliations and making sure all cash-related activity is accurate, timely, and compliant. This role combines strong accounting skills with leadership responsibility, including overseeing reconciliations across multiple locations, reviewing and approving work, improving processes, and supporting the monthly close.
This is a hybrid position (2 days in the office), so candidates must be located near Minnetonka, MN.
What you’ll be doing:
- Make sure bank reconciliations from multiple locations are completed on time by managing a reconciliation tracking log
- Prepare and maintain a cash lead schedule for the CFO
- Act as the go-to person for reconciliation questions, offering training and support to field teams
- Review and approve bank reconciliations to ensure they’re accurate, complete, and follow internal controls
- Investigate and resolve differences between bank activity and the general ledger
- Prepare and post journal entries to fix reconciliation issues when needed
- Complete monthly reconciliations for miscellaneous cash accounts not tied to a specific bank
- Support monthly and year-end close activities, including preparing quarterly reports
- Look for ways to improve processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and controls
- Work closely with IT, Treasury, and other teams to streamline workflows and address system or process issues
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and audit requirements
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and analysis as needed
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- 4–7 years of accounting experience, with a strong background in bank reconciliations
- Good working knowledge of GAAP and cash accounting
- Experience with accounting systems (Workday Finance is a plus, but not required)
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience with reconciliation automation tools or ERP integrations is a plus

Position's Pay Range:
$85,000 - $90,000Benefits may include:
