
Retail Operations Intern (m/f/d)
Job Description
Join Birkenstock as a Retail Operations Intern and support store performance, operational excellence, and retail projects while gaining hands-on experience in data analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration across markets.
YOUR SHOES TO FILL
- Store Performance: Support monitoring of sales, KPIs, and store operations while identifying gaps and assisting in improving efficiency and customer experience
- Operations & Compliance: Assist with store audits, ensure adherence to brand standards, and support implementation of operational guidelines and procedures
- Project Support: Help coordinate retail projects such as store openings, stock takes, and operational initiatives with internal and external stakeholders
- Process Improvement: Contribute to optimizing workflows, updating SOPs, and improving store operations across inventory, staffing, and execution
- Data & Reporting: Support reporting, analyze performance data, and assist in generating insights to improve operational and business outcomes
YOUR WALK OF LIFE
- Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Analytical Skills: Comfortable working with data and Excel, with an interest in performance tracking and reporting
- Organization: Detail-oriented and well-organized, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Mindset & Passion: Proactive, hands-on, and eager to learn, with a strong interest in retail operations and customer experience
