Job Description

You will design, implement, troubleshoot, and improve automation systems, controls hardware/software, robotics, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, sensors, drives, and related manufacturing equipment. You will support automated manufacturing equipment from concept through installation, validation, production launch, and sustainment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and EHS to resolve equipment issues, reduce downtime, improve process capability, and support production-rate goals. You will analyze automation performance data, equipment trends, and process issues to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and drive sustainable improvements. You will support equipment design reviews, process changes, capital projects, Management of Change activities, and automation upgrades to ensure long-term reliability, maintainability, and compliance. You will apply, own, and drive Lean Production principles within automation and manufacturing processes, including waste identification, continuous improvement, standard work, and structured problem-solving to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will create and maintain technical documentation, controls drawings, procedures, troubleshooting guides, validation records, and other automation-related documentation as required. You will perform additional responsibilities, projects, and automation improvement initiatives as needed based on business needs.
