As the FP&A Manager for our Global Business Services, you will spearhead the strategic establishment and growth of our FP&A Center of Excellence (CoE) in Costa Rica. You will play a pivotal role in bridging global business units with our offshore team, facilitating executive communication, and ensuring seamless alignment with Equifax's global financial standards. What you’ll do
Build and Scale: Lead the strategic establishment and growth of the FP&A Center of Excellence (CoE) in Costa Rica, overseeing recruitment, training, and performance management for a high-performing offshore team.
Process Integration: Act as the primary bridge between HQ, BU Finance Teams and the offshore team, ensuring a deep alignment with Equifax Finance and Accounting processes to maintain data integrity and reporting consistency.
Stakeholder Partnership: Serve as a key financial partner to global business units, providing insightful analysis that translates complex data into actionable business recommendations.
Financial Governance: Ensure all offshore deliverables comply with internal accounting controls and global reporting standards, bridging the gap between raw accounting data and strategic FP&A insights.
Continuous Improvement: Drive the evolution of financial models and reporting dashboards to increase transparency and decrease manual touchpoints across the finance organization.
Collaboration: Serve as the key partner to all Business Units and Corporate FP&A teams to ensure there is close partnership with all key stakeholders, a clear feedback loop and consistency and standardization across EFX in standing up the Offshore FP&A Program.
What experience you need
Experience: 7+ years in Finance/Accounting with at least 3+ years in people management.
GBS Expertise: Deep knowledge of finance and accounting workflows within matrixed multinational corporations.
Languages: Full professional fluency in English and Spanish (B2)
Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Hyperion Essbase, Oracle Planning, and complex Excel modeling (Power Query).
Knowledge: Strong grasp of US GAAP and experience in large, matrixed multinational corporations.
Financial Rigor: Strong command of US GAAP and the ability to reconcile accounting data with strategic FP&A forecasts.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA preferred)
