OVERVIEW
We are seeking an accomplished Executive Chef to lead our culinary program in Charleston, SC.
This role calls for a chef with both creative vision and operational excellence—someone who can inspire a team, elevate flavors, and uphold the highest standards of consistency and execution. You will guide a passionate back‑of‑house team, oversee daily operations, and cultivate a kitchen culture where craftsmanship, collaboration, and innovation thrive.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and oversee all back‑of‑house operations, working closely with the Sous Chef to ensure exceptional food quality and consistency
- Develop daily specials and communicate specifications clearly to both BOH and FOH teams
- Uphold all plating, recipe, and presentation standards
- Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and BOH scheduling
- Demonstrate mastery of all line stations and expo
- Maintain strict adherence to DHEC standards, including labeling, cleanliness, and proper food storage
- Receive deliveries, address discrepancies, and communicate with vendors and the General Manager
- Foster a positive, collaborative kitchen culture and participate in staff meetings
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5+ years of professional kitchen experience with significant leadership responsibilities
- Proven culinary expertise across multiple cuisines
- Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building skills
- Experience with menu development, cost control, and inventory management
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Culinary degree or diploma preferred
- Fine dining experience strongly preferred
- Extensive wine knowledge a plus
SALARY RANGE
$55,000 to $65,000 annually
