Job Description

Job Objective Ensure that manufactured parts and products meet the customer agreement completely in terms of cost, deadline, quantity and quality aspects, in order to secure the competitiveness of the company and jobs in the long term Ensure, comply with and bear responsibility for the COP (conformity of production) requirements defined by the law for the products to be manufactured at the plant on behalf of the license holder Duties and Responsibilities A Internal Factory/ Production Center Management 1 Ensure order processing within the context of customer orders in the factory, monitoring consistent keeping of schedules and forecasting with customers and suppliers, as well as ensuring direct dispatch from the plant 2 Making sure that the ordered parts and products/parts can be manufactured in the correct quality, quantity and time, as well as to the jointly agreed primary costs, in order to meet customer agreements and make profit 3 Ensure the implementation of the quality strategy (e.g. zero faults, process mastering, capability, 5S method etc.); ensuring that internal and external complaints are processed, production audits and improvement measures are carried out; and that scrap and reworking costs are reduced, in order to continually improve the quality of the processes and products and to increase customer satisfaction 4 Planning and agreeing investment and cost budgets and personnel capacities on the basis of the fiscal year, as well as checking the monthly deviations and initiating suitable corrective measures, in order to keep targets and secure Hella's profit 5 Provision of means for personnel, technologies and plants. Achievement of the prescribed economic targets through the economic use of the resources humans, material and operating equipment, in order to remain competitive on the global market 6 Consultation, discussion and negotiation if necessary of all matters concerning the production area that have to be agreed with the Works Council and the Human Resources department, in order to meet legal requirements and guarantee smooth production workflows 7 Ensuring that faults in the health safety area are detected, checked and eliminated in cooperation with the health and safety engineer responsible, in order to meet the legal and company requirements and avoid accidents and production downtimes 8 Agree training and instruction for employees; providing protective measures of all kinds within the legal framework in order to create maximum safety for our employees 9 Implementation of the environment management system in order to implement the legal environmental protection requirements 10 Initiate the procurement of production equipment and technologies under the aspects of environmental compatibility 11 Building up, commissioning and optimizing planned production facilities, qualifying the required staff and carrying out production acceptance tests with the customers, in order to guarantee smooth and onschedule SOP 12 Involvement in the design of production workflows, development of factory layouts, clarification and procurement of replacement and new investments, agreement and implementation of the measures with the departments affected, in order to guarantee smooth and cost-optimized production 13 Implementation of the CIP (Continual Improvement Process) in the area of responsibility within the context of the agreed guidelines and the program, in order to guarantee permanent improvement of competitiveness B Leadership 1 Deploying employees corresponding to their qualifications within the relevant structure. Instructing and supporting employees in a target-oriented and motivating manner to fulfill the tasks 2 Guiding, instructing and supporting employees in function-related tasks 3 Responsible for hiring process and sustain the team performance and evaluation as well as qualification demands 4 Managing of employees according to targets and delegation, to select, to qualify and further develop employees on the basis of a culture of trust, control effectiveness, in order to develop and compensate potential and promote individual competencies, to achieve the targets of the department Job Profile / Requirements a) profession / education b) job related experience University degree more than 7 up to 8 years
