Job Description
The Opportunity: The Facilities Technician’s job requires someone who is flexible and hardworking to assist our maintenance department in maintaining our production facilities including grounds and open spaces. This position pays: $24.00 - $29.00
A Day In The Life of A Facilities Technician:
Inspect all areas of the facility daily to identify problems with system failures, structural damages or breakages
Respond to requests for maintenance services, including repairing locks, utilities, furniture assembly and installation
Repair minor plumbing issues, drywall and do some carpentry work
Change lights bulbs and ensure other fixtures and fittings are in good working order
Painting
Maintain all restrooms by ensuring that hands-free faucets, stalls and paper dispensers are working properly
Test performance of appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves
You will work a set shift of Monday to Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm
What We're Looking For From You:
Proven experience as handyman
Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems
Basic math skills
Forklift certification or experience preferred
