Carnegies Café Manager – Tropicana Laughlin 

Job Summary

The Café Manager is the heartbeat of Family Style Service—leading daily operations, inspiring a high‑performing team, and ensuring every guest enjoys a warm, seamless, and memorable dining experience. This role blends leadership, hospitality, and operational excellence, making you the driving force behind smooth shifts, satisfied guests, and a thriving café environment.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and energetic café environment at all times
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth service flow and consistent quality
  • Manage inventory strategically—balancing cost control with product availability
  • Monitor food safety, sanitation, and compliance with all regulatory standards
  • Uphold Tropicana Laughlin and Caesars Entertainment service standards with pride

 

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of food and beverage professionals
  • Delegate tasks effectively and build efficient, balanced schedules
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members to deliver Family Style Service
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that boosts morale and retention

 

Guest Experience & Service Recovery

  • Address guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and quick resolution
  • Turn challenging moments into opportunities for five‑star Family Style experiences
  • Ensure all team members deliver warm, attentive, and consistent service

 

Administrative & Financial Responsibilities

  • Manage labor, inventory, and operational costs responsibly
  • Assist with ordering, receiving, and vendor communication
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
  • Support POS oversight, cash handling accuracy, and operational controls
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in a similar food outlet or supervisory role
  • Valid Health Card and Alcohol Card (or local equivalent)
  • Strong English communication skills for guest interaction and team leadership
  • Basic math and computer proficiency, including POS systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism
