Role Summary

You will act as the first point of contact for the operational teams in case of system issues (WMS and TMS). You diagnose the situation both administratively and (if required) physically and determine the necessary actions to be initiated.
You maintain master data in the Samsung SDS’s Cello systems and ensure that stock levels are aligned between our WMS and the customer’s ERP system.

Key Responsibilities

First Line System Support

• Manage operational system issues
• Escalate follow up operational system issues to second line support if required and follow up
• Provide support for operations in WMS and TMS systems
• Diagnose and prioritize issues and determine necessary actions
• Communicate with relevant individuals within other departments in the organization and customer

Master Data maintenance

• Maintaining operating procedures regarding Master Data
• Investigate and make proposals for appropriate Master Data settings
• Enforce root cause analysis
• Maintain Master data

Continuous Improvement

• Proof system issues in the test system and suggest structural solutions in cooperation with Logistics Engineer and Operations
• Initiate improvement possibilities of storage methods and put away strategies
• Initiate and implement Master Data improvements
• Participate in customer implementation and/or process changes incl testing and go-live support
• Identify process deviations and translate deviations into solutions and improvement proposals
• Assist on projects
• Contribute to improvement plans
• Support training of colleagues in new system functionalities
• All other activities related to System Support and Master Data maintenance

Requirements

For this role we are looking for an ambitious candidate with strong analytical and communication skills. He/she is flexible and accurate with a strong hands-on mentality that likes to works in teams.

We are looking for a person with:

• 1 - 3 years working experience in a warehousing operations and/or coordination role
• Eager to learn more than only WMS
• Willing to work in shift rotation (might be the case in the future)
• A proficient level of English
• Experience with MS Office, mainly Excel
• Relevant experience TMS and WMS systems
