Job Summary Our facilities are staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year, including all holidays, regardless of weather conditions
Operators of fuel facilities are responsible for the operation, inspection, minor maintenance and general housekeeping of various fuel infrastructure around the airport
Operators also manually handle fuel for testing purposes in accordance with applicable directives and are tasked with having attention to detail when documenting forms associated with facility and equipment inspections, fuel analysis, etc
Additionally, the Fuel Facilities Operator must always place a high emphasis on safety while complying with Swissport’s polices on safety
The expected pay rate will be $23.98/hour

Your activities Receiving petroleum products into fuel facilities via multiple delivery modes which include pipeline and tanker trucks Operating / monitoring equipment used to receive, store and issue petroleum products Quality control of fuel IAW applicable directives Quality control of facilities / infrastructure IAW applicable directives Occasionally assisting mechanics with minor repairs of facilities / equipment Upkeep / cleaning of facilities Completing / updating records and forms accurately Operating / monitoring automated fueling systems (Human Machine Interface - HMI) Clearly and accurately communicating information to supervision, management, customers, etc
Assisting with fuel spill cleanup, as required Operating fuel sampling / testing equipment Operating / inspecting vehicles including general purpose and vacuum trucks Abiding by all company policies, which include those policies directed by station-level management Your profile High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license Good verbal and oral communication skills Must be able to pass the Tank Farm Operator math skills test, color blindness test Must have complete knowledge and understanding of the fuel facility and hydrant system Be able to climb stairs and work at elevations as well as perform physical requirements Be able to respond to and work in emergency conditions as required Ability to work in all weather conditions Willing to work flexible working hours What we offer 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance At Swissport, we believe in diversity, equal opportunity, and the power of our values to drive our success
